Book #2 from the series: Via Daemonia Motorcycle Club

Bear (Via Daemonia Motorcycle Club Book 2)

About

Terrance “Bear” Collins is the Road Captain of the Via Daemonia Motorcycle Club. He’s always had a laidback, jovial outlook on life. He loves his club, his family, his niece and nephew, and his hometown of Mount Grove PA. Lately he’s been feeling restless—ever since a one-night stand snuck away from him. Bear’s been having trouble getting the little blonde spitfire out of his head. An unexpected event lands Bear in the emergency room. Only to discover that his mysterious one-night stand from months ago is the doctor…and she’s pregnant with his cub! He’s not about to let Dr. Tessa Fisher get away from him a second time. Bear’s sworn to keep her, and their cub, safe, especially when danger starts coming at them from all sides.

Praise for this book

The 2nd book in this series and it just keeps getting better and better. I love everyone in this world but especially Scotty! People read this book!

4/5 Stars – Grit, Heart, and a Bear-Sized Dose of Emotion

This second installment in the MC romance series is a standout in the genre, blending intense romance, emotional depth, and suspense with a refreshing twist on the typical motorcycle club trope. Instead of the usual rough-and-rowdy outlaw crew, this MC is composed of former military men and women—good Samaritans bonded by loyalty, purpose, and a deep sense of justice. That angle alone makes the story feel fresh and grounded.

Bear and Tessa’s story delivers both heat and heart. Their chemistry is undeniable—tender, passionate, and full of mutual respect. Bear’s immediate devotion to Tessa is charming (if a little intense), and watching their relationship blossom amidst chaos and high-stakes moments was genuinely rewarding. The “cub and bear” motif might be an acquired taste, but it ultimately adds a unique, affectionate layer to their bond.

The writing handles some dark, emotional subject matter with care—be prepared for heavy moments and consult trigger warnings if needed. But rather than feel gratuitous, these elements enrich the story and highlight the MC’s commitment to standing up for others, even when justice is slow to come.

While the plot leans on a few familiar genre beats (surprise pregnancy, hospital reconnection, fate-driven romance), it’s executed with enough heart and character depth to feel satisfying rather than clichéd. The supporting cast adds a lot to the atmosphere, and the club dynamics are strong enough to make you eager for future installments—especially Scar’s story.

Bottom line: This is a gritty, steamy, emotionally driven romance with substance. Not perfect, but compelling—and a great reason to keep reading this promising series.

Papa Bear, Mama Bear and cub makes for a wonderful and suspenseful book.

This book just starts running right from the beginning and Bear leads the charge this time. The story is so rich with action, love, family and deadly villains, I loved it! Again, Elise has woven a tale that is going to knock you out. It starts fast and never stops. The supporting cast is as intriguing as our couple: Bear and Tessa. This is a five star read and I would highly recommend. Beautiful and terrifying till the end. Peace out.
