Tough good/bad guy, independent girl. A love story with "I'll move the world for you" vibes. Friendship, love, humor, sarcasm, snark. You truly fall for the characters and connect with the story. I cannot express the varied emotions that I felt while reading this book.

Lucky is one of those book boyfriends you wish would come and sweep you off your feet! Selfless, caring, courageous, dominant….all around swoon worthy! I enjoyed Harper’s character as well and how she didn’t apologize for her body or her ability to stand up and speak her mind (except to her father…). Overall this was a great MC romance to start off a series!

This was such a solid MC romance. There was a lot of attention on the club members and dynamics, which means the story wasn't rushed and flowed perfectly between all the different characters. I loved what MC stood for and the attention they have for mental health and being there for each other in every capacity, even in moments of life and death. I will say, read the trigger warnings well! This book dives into some pretty heavy material. I adored how easily and fast Bear fell, and how committed and sure he was about Tessa. I will admit the whole "cub and bear" thing took me a bit to get used to, but it grows on you, so stick with it. Overall, the book developed around the MC business and made for a solid romance with a great foundation between Tessa and Bear.

I seriously love this MC series. I believe it is mostly due to the development of the characters. Bear and Tessa are my favorite couple. With their meet cute to finding their way back to each other, they were suited for each other. Though the overarching issues this MC faces are dark and concerning, it does not take away from the main focus of the couple’s stories along with the main theme of brotherhood and family. Looking forward to the next in the series. And really looking forward to Scars story!
